Balck Coffee is a micro roastery located in Kalmar on the Swedish east coast. Here they have been operating their roastery since 2015. They source their coffee beans from individual farmers or cooperatives, without using any middlemen, and the relationship is built on; transparency, sustainability, and quality.

For example, they regularly visit the coffee farmers on their farms to jointly develop the farming methods, post-harvest process, and overall quality. By paying several times more than the commodity market price, they also enable economically and socially sustainable coffee production.

The coffee is then roasted carefully to develop its natural taste profile.
